Tracy joined Personalized Tours in 1988 as a temporary stop after college. After escorting a few tours, Tracy soon fell in love with the travel industry and has had her suitcase packed ever since! Tracy leads 80 percent of the tours (being a Leo, she has to be in charge) and enjoys knowing her passengers on a first name basis. When not rolling down the highway on a motorcoach, you can find Tracy doing everything there is to run your own company, including answering phones, setting up tours, and taking care of group travel. Tracy's main goal is to ensure that our tours are "Planned With You in Mind".
Emma joined Personalized Tours in November of 2017 as our Office Assistant and has since grown into the role of our Office Supervisor. She graduated from UW-Madison's Farm and Industry Short Course with the goal of owning her own farm in the future. In the evenings and weekends she can be found at horse shows and caring for her many animals and gardens. Among other things, she helps Tracy with tour documents, and other daily office tasks like answering the phone, updating the website and making reservations along with filling in as a tour director when needed.
Aly joined our team in March of 2023 as a digital media specialist. She will primarily be working on the social media of the company, as well as helping with daily tasks and reservations in the office. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay this past December and she is from the Oostburg area. Aly loves to travel, so working at Personalized Tours is a perfect place for her to get her next trip ideas. When she isn't traveling, she loves reading, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring the outdoors.
Michele joined Personlized Tours in early 2021 after working for Nationwide Travelers for 14 years. After Nationwide closed their doors in 2020, we were lucky to bring on Michele along with a few drivers. She has been a staple in our office ever since. Despite living in Appleton, Michele works remotely during most of the week and drives into the office on Wednesdays. Her expertise and fantastic customer service has made great improvements to our charter department. When not working (which isn't often), she enjoys spending time with her dog, Lacy or her wife, Jodi.
Lynn joined us here at Personalized Tours as a tour director in 2021. In the past two years, she has become a pro tour director and beloved by our travelers. Her great sense of humor and personability makes her a great fit in our office and on the road. When not on the road, she can be found up north, relaxing with her dogs, and spending time with her family. Lynn's favorite part of tour directing is getting to meet so many new travelers and getting to see familiar faces when our travelers go on multiple tours.
Donna is our newest tour director to join Personalized Tours, but she has over 20 years of experience in the tour directing business, so we are lucky to have her join us. She started with Personalized Tours in June of 2022 but has worked as a tour director since 1999. Her favorite part of the job is getting to enjoy time with the travelers. When Donna isn’t tour directing, she loves hiking, reading, biking, and spending time with her family.
Judy started with Personalized Tours in September 2022. After working 40+ years in customer service Judy retired from Rockline Industries in June 2020. On a whim, she texted Tracy and asked if she needed any part time office help, and the rest is history. While in the office her time is spent answering phones, taking reservations and any other projects that come her way. Away from Personalized, she is kept busy with their 15 grandchildren’s many sporting events: soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and dance recitals.
Laney joined our team on a part-time basis after school and during the summer. She had been such a help in our office getting tour documents ready, prepping name tags, sending out paperwork, and helping with all things extended tour prep! She's not one you may see around often, as she usually works after hours, but our office wouldn't run the same without her. She heads off to college this fall but plans to still help us out on her college breaks.
Though Jerry has another full-time job, he often ends up at our office at the end of the day and on weekends helping with whatever needs to get done, from paying bills to being our in-house IT guy to mowing the grass and shoveling snow. He even occassionally helps his wife Tracy escort a tour now and then.
Mike and Kathy do an amazing job keeping our buses in the best condition. They love to join us on our tours throughout the year when they aren't hard at work making sure our buses are clean and shiny. Mike and Kathy love the camaraderie that comes with working at Personalized Tours with our office and shop staff. When Mike and Kathy aren't waking up at 3am to clean buses or traveling via motorcoach, Mike enjoys model railroading and gardening, while Kathy enjoys reading and crocheting.
Our goldens are a staple in the office. They spend more hours here than many of us and keep us company during the day. The dogs are very fortunate that everyone in the office loves them.
