The Scoop from Tracy Schueller

We asked you, our travelers, what tours you would like to see in our line up for 2019. Some of the more popular suggestions were: one-day trips that involved more activity exploring and experiencing attractions and also an overnight  to Chicago. So we asked, you spoke, and we are now ready to offer a few “new” outings that I think you will love. More detailed brochures will be on our website next week when you receive our catalog that will be emailed/mailed out on July 20th.

November 15: DANCE YOUR GLASS OFF! This will be a fun day in northern Illinois set up for just our group.  Our first stop will be a glass studio with many examples of artistry including: glass bowls, platters, holiday ornaments, seasonal decorations and vases in every size and shape. The owner of the gallery will provide great insight with a demonstration before we are presented with our very own glass-blown pumpkin for the fall season. After a delicious lunch, our next unique stop will be for those who want to participate and wear off the calories
of the day
OR for those wanting to take it all in and experience a unique event. We promise an enjoyable time as dance experts, Angela and Richard, teach us some new dance moves! Don’t worry if you don’t dance or move that well, all skill levels are addressed. Grab a chair or shake a leg and let’s “Shake, Rattle & Roll.”

April 19-21: WINDY CITY WEEKEND! Enjoy a great mystery stop, shuttle service to a few of the more popular sites downtown like the Shedd Aquarium, the Adler Planetarium and the Magnificent Mile.  For those interested, we will visit The Willis Tower for its “TILT” experience. Our accommodations for both nights will be the new Cambria hotel located in the theatre district. Other highlights will be Garrett’s Popcorn, Chicago theatre performance, evening entertainment and Sunday brunch.

 Sincerely,

We didn't have a winner last month; the correct answer was that Glenn and Linda were in Lafayette, Louisiana!
