Last, but certainly not least, our safe, experienced drivers will be sure the coach is spotless and comfortable.
Tracy joined Personalized Tours in 1988 as a temporary stop after college. After escorting a few tours, Tracy soon fell in love with the travel industry and has had her suitcase packed ever since! Tracy leads 80 percent of the tours (being a Leo, she has to be in charge) and enjoys knowing her passengers on a first name basis. When not rolling down the highway on a motorcoach, you can find Tracy doing everything there is to run your own company, including answering phones, setting up tours, and taking care of group travel. Tracy's main goal is to ensure that our tours are "Planned With You in Mind".
Emma joined Personalized Tours in November of 2017 as our Office Assistant and has since grown into the role of our Office Supervisor. She graduated from UW-Madison's Farm and Industry Short Course with the goal of owning her own farm in the future. In the evenings and weekends she can be found at horse shows and caring for her many animals and gardens. Among other things, she helps Tracy with tour documents, and other daily office tasks like answering the phone, updating the website and making reservations along with filling in as a tour director when needed.
Lynn joined us here at Personalized Tours as a tour director in 2021. In the past years, she has become a pro tour director and beloved by our travelers. Her great sense of humor and personability makes her a great fit in our office and on the road. When not on the road, she can be found up north, relaxing with her dogs, and spending time with her family. Lynn's favorite part of tour directing is getting to meet so many new travelers and getting to see familiar faces when our travelers go on multiple tours.
Donna joined the Personalized family in June of 2022 - but has more than 20 years of experience as a tour director! Her caring attitude and love-for-life personality makes her a wonderful addition to our tour director lineup. Her favorite part of the job is getting to enjoy time with the travelers. When Donna isn’t tour directing, she loves hiking, reading, biking, and spending time with her family.
Sherri started with Personalized Tours in October of 2023. After working 20+ years in corrections, Sherri retired and wanted to find a job to keep her busy but with a little less stress. On a whim, she applied for the job and she has fit into our office seemlessly. While in the office her time is spent answering phones, taking reservations and any other projects that come her way. Away from Personalized, crocheting, walking her dogs, Sadie and Sammy, and traveling are what you will find her filling her free time with.
The newest addition to our team...Diane joins us with a wealth of experience in the industry.
Kathy joined Personalized as a traveler in 2018 with her husband Mike when they went to Alaska. Since then, they never seem to be far away from our office! Kathy decided to come on board and help out as Tracy's "personal assistant". She has been a huge help with handling projects, filing paperwork, and keeping our lobby up to date - all while still traveling regularly!
Laney joined our team on a part-time basis after school and during the summer. She had been such a help in our office getting tour documents ready, prepping name tags, sending out paperwork, and helping with all things extended tour prep! She's not one you may see around often, as she usually works after hours, but our office wouldn't run the same without her. She heads off to college this fall but plans to still help us out on her college breaks.
Though Jerry has another full-time job, he often ends up at our office at the end of the day and on weekends helping with whatever needs to get done, from paying bills to being our in-house IT guy to mowing the grass and shoveling snow. He even occassionally helps his wife Tracy escort a tour now and then.
Our goldens are a staple in the office. They spend more hours here than many of us and keep us company during the day. The dogs are very fortunate that everyone in the office loves them.
